Scrapbooking - My University Scrapbook

I love scrapbooking my photographs and displaying my memories in books rather than on a hardrive on my computer! However, sometimes it takes me ages to actually do a complete one because I have to do it in little bits and secondly I don't have my own workspace so I am forever packing everything away and bringing it out again!

I am pleased to say I have finally finished my University scrapbook of my final year. It was such a special year that I thought it deserved a scrapbook all to itself and now every time I look at it I can't help but smile!

Remember those wooden numbers I got back in October? Knew they would come in handy!

The first page was dedicated to everything Sheffield related!I have a mix of photos, train tickets, postcode wrapping paper and also a little gift tag a friend put on my leaving present that has a little message inside!

I found that picking some sort of theme or colour scheme for each page or different event worked well! This was a 90s themed party so everything was pastel pink and I used an illustration of an old school camera from one of my Amy Tangerine paper pads.
Little stamps are great for adding small details in gaps!

I picked out the colour of my dress for this double spread theme and used the 'time to celebrate' piece from Kewcraft. I love the little detail that the paper packs add and that you can use them to write memories in.
Old maps make great backgrounds and add detail of the place something took place!
I think it's important to get names, feelings, dates and events written among your scrapbook.
I finished off my scrapbook with my final graduation photos which was the ending to my university life. I found this quote about the time that I was leaving Sheffield and think it really sums up the ending of a chapter in your life.
I hoped you liked taking a peek into one of my scrapbooks! On with the next one!

Month In Pictures

Firstly, I have to apologise for being MIA lately. I seem to have been so busy these last few weeks it's unreal. February was a blur of Birthdays and trips and I already can't believe we're halfway through March and I'm only just getting round to last month in pictures. I will try to get my blogging back into my life while balancing everything else!

1. Finally bought The Fault In Ours Stars to see what all the fuss is about and I finished it in 2 days and plenty of tears. Book review to come soon as I thought it was amazing!
2. Indulging in cute stationary. I will never have enough.
3. China Town just after Chinese New Year in London!
4. The end of the day in Trafalgar Square
5. My Handmade Comic Envelopes from my Etsy store
6. Visiting Bath for a surprise Valentines weekend away!
7. A surprise birthday party for my favourite boy
8. You can never blow out the candles alone!
9. Hosted my first ever giveaway!
